The clean, straightforward design of the Toyota Fortuner 2019 India is let down only by the turbo model’s excessive add-ons.

Other exterior updates include a new bumper design at the rear along with larger reflectors, integrated diffusers and new fog lamps. Interiors also get updated with a black and red color scheme seen on its dashboard, door panels and seats.
There is also the TRD badge seen on its instrument cluster along with red highlights while other interior features continue to be similar to its earlier counterpart. Toyota TRD Sportivo 2 will be sold in three color options of White Pearl, White Pearl with Black Top and Altitude Black Micra.
Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo 2 will go on sale in Thailand powered by a 2.8 liter diesel engine in 2WD and 4WD options. This engine will offer 174 bhp power at 3,400 rpm and 450 Nm torque at 1,200 to 2,400 rpm. Apart from diesel engine, it also comes with petrol engine option, but the TRD Sportivo option only comes with diesel engine.
Fortuner is the best selling car in its segment ever since it was launched. Priced in the region of Rs 28-33 lakhs, it takes on the likes of Skoda Kodiaq and Honda CRV. Expect the TRD Sportivo 2 to launch in India next year.
The best value in Toyota Fortuner 2019 India is a base model with manual gearbox, but it’s still decently priced after adding fancy audio, leather, and a moonroof.
